The mission of the maintenance of accreditation office is to design and implement, and follow up the necessary plans and actions that guide the College of Business Administration (CBA) – Kuwait University – towards the Maintenance of its initial accreditation earned in 2005. To carry out this mission, the office is guided by the Maintenance of Accreditation Handbook issued by AACSB as well as the new Eligibility Procedures and Standards for Business Accreditation. In this process, the office serves also as a support for documentation and information gathering and also as a liaison between the accrediting body (AACSB) and the college.
The Maintenance of accreditation process is faculty driven and is being carried out through team work. In this respect, the maintenance office is being supported in carrying out its mission by a number of task forces grouping faculty members from the different departments at the college. Moreover, each department at CBA has a subcommittee that helps in the implementation of the necessary plans and actions and, hence, serves as a liaison with the different academic departments at CBA.
