Bio:
Abdullah Al-Owaihan received his PhD. in Entrepreneurship from St. Louis University, MO, USA in 1996. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing and was the Associate Dean for Research, Planning and Laboratory of the College of Business Administration, Kuwait University, Kuwait. His research interests include entrepreneurship, small business development, ethics and human resource management. He has made tremendous contribution to various publications particularly focusing on entrepreneurship and small business development.

   Adel A. Al-Wugayan -  Associate Professor

Bio:
Dr. Adel Al-Wugayan is currently serving as the Associate Professor of Marketing at Kuwait University. Dr Al-Wugayan earned his PhD from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston USA, and MBA from Southern-Illinois University-Carbondale, and bachelor’s degree from College of Business, Kuwait University with distinctions and honors. During his career, Dr. Al-Wugayan assumed several academic and government responsibilities including supervision of the consultation unit at Center of Excellence in Management (CEM) 2002-2004, Director of CEM 2004-2007, Assistant Dean 2003-2007, Secretary-General for the Supreme Council for Planning and Development for the state of Kuwait 2007-2014.  He published his works in various double-blind refereed academic journals such as : Journal of Services Marketing, International Journal of Bank Marketing, International Journal of Logistics Management, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Journal of Transnational Management, Arab Journal of Administrative Sciences, International Business & Economics Research Journal,  Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development, Journal of International Food & Agribusiness Marketing, and Middle-East Journal of Management.  His research interest includes: Marketing Strategy, Consumer Behavior, Philanthropy, CSR, Financial Services Marketing, Marketing Ethics, Entrepreneurship, and Customer Satisfaction/Quality.   Dr Al-Wugayan received several awards such as URI-College of Business award during his PhD, best paper award from Society for Marketing Advancement among others, best young researcher award CBA-KU.  Dr. Al-Wugayan taught several courses at the undergraduate and graduate programs in Kuwait and abroad as well as a collection of training programs.  Full CV is available upon request via email: ADEL.ALWEQAIYAN@ku.edu.kw or Wugayan@yahoo.com.

Bio:
Majdi A. Quttainah is an Assistant Professor of Management at the College of Business Administration, Kuwait University. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Lally School of Management & Technology, Rensselaer. He obtained his MBA with merits from the Business School & Entrepreneurship at the University Of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. His primary research interests cover strategic management of distinct organizations, and corporate governance, with special focus on board of directors and code of governance and their effects on managerial behavior. Abdullah Jawad Sultan - Associate Professor

 Bio:
Dr. Abdullah J. Sultan earned his PhD. degree in Marketing from Washington State University (USA) and his MBA and engineering degrees from the University of Missouri (USA). He is an Associate Professor of marketing in the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University and works on consultation and training projects as a freelancer. He is certified global customer experience management (GCEM). His research and teaching interests are marketing research, consumer behavior, branding, corporate social responsibility (CSR), customer experience management (CEM), integrated marketing communications (IMC), marketing strategy, and retailing management.

Bio:
Dr. Samar Baqer is a Fulbright Scholar who is currently working as an Assistant Professor of marketing at the College of Business Administration in Kuwait University. Dr. Baqer is one of the most active faculty members in the College of Business at both academic and professional level.
Since she joined the college she had held several administrative positions. She was the supervisor of the Executive Seminar Unit in 2008. Then, she became the director of the Office of Students Training and Alumni between 2011 and 2013. Recently she became the supervisor of the Entrepreneurship Unit.
Dr. Samar has a Bachelor degree in computer science from Kuwait University. She received her Master degree and her Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (majoring in Marketing) from the University of Texas at Arlington (USA).
Beside her academic work, Dr. Baqer worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Planning in a couple of projects. Currently, she works as an advisor for the executive chairman of Kuwait National Fund for SME Development.
Dr. Baqer is a member of the American Marketing Association and Kuwait Economic Society. Her research and teaching interests include: marketing strategy, digital marketing, sustainability, entrepreneurship, green marketing, and global marketing.
