Economics Club

Introduction


The economics club was reconstituted in 2003 by aspirant students of economics major who were looking forward to reinforcing the influence of economics and stressing its significance as a science on students' academic life to direct their motivations toward it and to increase their awareness about the importance of business to our country's economy in general and the role of economics field of study in particular. The club can be thought of as a small committee organized by economics students intended mainly to provide educational and social services to support other students and to enrich their education. Adding value to the teaching style in college and promoting economics major are some of our many ways to create an unforgettable position in the minds of current and prospective students. The club was an outcome of successful and grateful cooperative and coordinated efforts among academicians, Students and administrators who greatly contributed to spur students' incentives for more engagement to academic life and perusing to graduate masterful, accomplished and brilliant students in economics by providing excellent educational and academic activities to level up their analytical and critical thinking and developing their social potentials and capabilities to encourage their independence.


Mission


The Economics Club seeks to broaden student's perceptions and knowledge about economics and emphasizes its role as the mother of all sciences through its multiple educational activities that are aimed at generating enlightened students in the field of economics and preparing them for their future careers.


Vision


The Economics club attempts to take a leading role in education at college of business administration in Kuwait university by providing the most efficient and effective educational activities to guide the student and shed the lights on economics.
