The Accounting Department's major objective is to provide both
professional and academic education in accounting and auditing. To achieve
this, the department seeks to stimulate the students to continue their
learning process after completion of formal education while endeavoring to
develop the student's capacity to reason objectively and precisely in the
decision-making process. The department also encourages the development of
those human and professional aspects necessary for a successful
professional career. The accounting curriculum is designed to meet the
needs of the student in planning a career in public and private sectors as
well as in public accounting. Upon specific recommendation of his/her
advisor, the student may emphasize financial accounting, auditing, cost
and management accounting, or accounting information
systems. |
