Case Research & Teaching Unit CRTU The Case Research and Teaching Unit ( CRTU ) was established at the Center of Excellence in Management ( CEM ), Kuwait University in 1999 for the main purpose of benefiting the various organizations, both public and private, in the State of Kuwait. The CRTU primarily engages in the development of case studies of both public and private organizations so that such case studies can be used for more effective teaching of various business administration subjects in the degree and management training programs at CBA. These case studies can also be used for effectively conducting in-house training programs by the public and private sector organizations in the country. The CRTU also organizes programs on case method of teaching. The primary purpose of the CRTU is to make teaching management subjects more effective with real life case studies based on Kuwaiti organizational experiences. The CRTU can provide expert services in developing case studies which directly benefit the interested organizations in their training programs, diagnosis of a variety of management problems and finding solutions to such problems through professional case analysis and recommendations.
