The mission of the department focuses on an array of issues. Firstly, to provide the graduating student with a full background in the field of Public Administration
to enable them to survive and advance in the real world of government organizations.
Secondly, the mission includes a full scale training program to create qualified
employees who can meet the rapid changes in the governmental sector.
The Department of Public Administration, established in 1982, is primarily responsible
for contributing to the following objectives:
- To offer an undergraduate
minor in Public Administration.

To plan and deliver management training programs which will screen the developmental
needs of Kuwait Public Administration.

To carry out studies and research for the
purpose of contributing to the enhancement in the study and practice of Public Administration
locally and internationally.
