Outgoing Student
Student Exchange Program (SEP) gives an opportunity to undergraduate and graduate students to get the advantage of global education system. Partner Business Schools send students to CBA as part of the exchange program. These students enrich CBA experience with their unique cultural and international business perspectives.

In order to maintain the successful of SEP educational purposes and values of exchanging students with global partner business schools, the Minister of Higher Education sets certain conditions of enrollment in the exchange program for both graduate and undergraduate of CBA students in March 31st, 2008.
>> Under Graduate
 
1- Student must be accredited at Kuwait University and no disciplinary sanctions taken against him/her.
2- Student should had been passed (4) semesters at CBA before enrollment in the exchange program.
3- Student’s credit should be (60) as minimum.
4- Student’s GPA should be (3) points and above.
5- Student should not study more than full academic year (two semesters and a summer course) at the host business school.
6- Student should cover (15) credits at CBA upon the completion of the exchange program.
7- Proof of English Proficiency (in accordance with the signed MOU).
8- Major courses are only required to be listed in the transcript of the exchange program at the host business school.
>> Graduate
 
1- Student must be accredited at Kuwait University and no disciplinary sanctions taken against him/her.
2- Student should had been passed (2) semesters at CBA before enrollment in the exchange program.
3- Student’s credit should be (15) as minimum.
4- Student’s GPA should be (3.5) points and above.
5- Student should not  study more than one semester at the host business school.
6- Student should cover (9) credits at CBA upon the completion of the exchange program.
7- Proof of English Proficiency (in accordance with the signed MOU).
8- Major courses are only required to be listed in the transcript of the exchange program at the host business school.
Graduate Website
>>  Enclosed Documents Required for Enrollment:
1- Application Form (PDF file) .
2- Colored copy of valid passport and (2) passport photos.
3- Official Transcript  – in English by KU Admission and Registration.
4- Proof of English language proficiency (In accordance with the signed MOU).
5- Curriculum Vitae – in English.
6- A copy of Civil ID.
7- A copy of Student ID.
8- Official Form of KU Admission & Registration, for the courses to be studied at the host business school and it’s equivalency to the courses included in the Student’s KU Transcript .
9-Plan of study for ( 3)  semesters including the current semester, the exchange semester, and the semester to be studied upon the completion of the exchange program.
10- Recommendation letter of nomination acceptance by CBA Exchange Office.
>> Steps for Enrollment:
1- Read  about SEP requirements and conditions in CBA website.
2- Visit partner business schools website and read the factsheets to know about admission, requirements, courses, and calendar
3- Select up the business school where you wish to study the exchange program.
4- Send the documents required for enrollment to the coordinator assistant by email.
5- Attend the interview dated  by CBA Exchange Committee.
6- Deliver the original SEP application form, the Courses Equivalency Form, and KU Official Transcript within (10) days after the interview result is announced.
7- Get (TO WHOM IT MY CONCERN) addressed to the Ambassador of the Host Country by CBA Exchange Office . It is a recommendation to easy your visa procedures and medical insurance. (Note: The bills of visa and medical insurance should be delivered for refund purpose before leaving abroad ).
8- Get (Certificate of English Language Proficiency) addressed to the host business school by CBA Exchange Office.
9- Withdraw only the courses registered in KU System of Registration for the semester of exchange before leaving abroad (Deadline: Date of Class Start).
10- Deliver a brief report of 10 lined-paragraph expressing about the exchange experience in partner business school, and answer CBA SEP Evaluation Form.
>> CBA Student whom is accepted, will receive the following:
1- Monthly payment that covers books, transportation, and living expenses.
2- Refundable for visa and medical insurance bills.
3- Voucher of Economy-Class Flight Ticket on Kuwait Airways.
>> CBA Exchange Student should consider the following:
1. Not to get less than grade (C) in order to consider the studied course passed in KU Student Transcript.
2. No grades for the studied courses of the exchange semester(s) are mentioned in KU student transcript. Accordingly, GPA remains the same as before the exchange period.
3. Not to withdraw from the program after the acceptance procedures start. However, duration of (10) days is given to the accepted student to confirm or withdraw registration.Noted that withdrawn student will not be accepted to apply in SEP along the period of study at CBA.
