  Issue  Objectives & Mission: 

The past years have witnessed a large number of interesting applications of various Computational intelligence techniques, such as fuzzy logic, rough sets, neural networks, and evolutionary computation, to multimedia computing.  With the advances in production, communication and storage techniques, the amount of digital multimedia content is experiencing a huge increase in recent years. This special issue  will focus mainly on the problems and applications that deal with the multimedia computing using computational intelligence techniques as an emerging research area.  The objective of this  special issue is to report some most recent developments and contributions in this direction.

Careful preparation of the manuscripts will help keep production time short and ensure satisfactory appearance of the finished book.
