Workshop Objective

 

The past years have witnessed a large number of interesting applications of various Intelligent soft computing techniques, such as fuzzy logic, rough sets,  neural networks, and evolutionary computation, to multimedia processing.  Multimedia computing problems such as content analysis, indexing and retrieval, recognition and compression, or processing and filtering.  This workshop  will focus mainly on the problems and applications that deal with the multimedia processing using  Intelligent Soft Computing  techniques as an emerging research area.  Recommended topics include but are not limited to the following:

Paper Presentation

Regular Papers, Oral Presentations and Posters.  Papers of up to 8 pages edited using the IEEE conference style must be submitted electronically to

Publication

All accepted papers (presented orally or as a poster) with paid registration  will be included in the Proceedings of ISDA'08, to be published by IEEE CS.

The International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications (ISDA) is a major annual international conference to bring together researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all interdisciplinary areas of computational intelligence and system engineering to share their experience, and exchange and cross-fertilize their ideas.
