Dr. Samar Mohammad Baqer

Dr. Samar Baqer is a Fulbright Scholar who is currently working as the director of the Office of Students Training and Alumni (OSTA) in the College of Business Administration, Kuwait University. In addition, Dr. Baqer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business Administration.

Dr. Samar has a Bachelor degree in computer science from Kuwait University. She received her Master degree and her Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (majoring in Marketing) from the University of Texas at Arlington (USA). Dr. Samar is a member of the American Marketing Association Kuwait Economic Society. Her research and teaching interests include: marketing strategy, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, green marketing, and global marketing.
